Bachelorette Pops One Out

Trista and Ryan SutterFor those of you sitting on pins and needles for word of "The Bachelorette's" birth, here it is. *sound of one gasp*

Celebrity Baby Blog has reported that Trista Sutter and husband Ryan welcomed their first child, a boy, last night via C-section, after a failed induction/stalled labor. Too much info?

The little bachelor, Maxwell Alston, weighed in at 5 lbs., 3oz., born four weeks early due to Trista's pregnancy complications of preeclampsia and gestational diabetes. Everybody's okay now! No word yet if Maxwell will be appearing on "A Baby Story."

16. Ok -TMZ, thats not a case of TMI, in fact I'd rather hear about a failed induction/stalled labor and NON ELECTIVE C section than see another shot of a celeb's crotch. That for me is TMI, not the birth of a baby.

Congrats to the happy new family.

18. Congrats to them! I had gest. diabetes, too, and had to be induced early because she stopped growing. Luckily I didn't need a c-section. My little one weighed 4 lbs. So I kinda know what they've gone through.

24. Preeclampsia maybe Gestational Diabetes probably not with a baby weighing 5lbs. With Gestational Diabetes women give birth to huge babies...Huge like over 8lbs.. I know a woman that just gave birth 4 weeks early and she had gestational diabetes and her baby was 8lbs 4oz..

27. I developed gestational diabetes during my last month of pregnancy, and I ended up with high blood pressure thet two last weeks of it. My daughter was 7 lbs. , 2 ounces. 18 inches long I had to go into emergency surgery, because my blood pressure skyrocketed when I went into labor.

With my second pregnancy, my daughter was 10 pounds, and I didn't have high blood pressure or gestational diabetes go figure. She was 22 inches long.

Women in their 30s tend to get high blood pressure and high sugar more than younger women.

28. #21 - TMZ get your facts straight - take some of your own advise. With uncontrolled gestational diabetes babies are born extremely large. Just because the baby is small (which is a relative term considering he was a month early and Trista is a tiny woman) does not mean she did not have GD - it just means that she was a very compliant patient and followed her doctor's advise (exercise, diet, weight gain) regarding control of GD. Very possibly her GD was not very severe. It is very obvious from "Celebrity Baby Blog" that the Sutters themselves announced the birth and the situation surrounding the birth. That site announced Trista was admitted to the hospital in pain, which is a sign of advanced preeclampsia, and it is very obvious that she had some complications with her pregnancy recently which led her doctors to believe it was safer to deliver her baby than to continue the pregnancy to term.

Congrats on your baby boy!!

30. Well there goes all hope for teaching Ryan how to use a comb. If she couldn't make it happen before the baby came - there's no hope now.

Not that she's in any great shape mind you, but maybe in a couple of years she can teach baby and Ryan about personal grooming at the same time.
