Bachelorette Pops One Out

Trista and Ryan SutterFor those of you sitting on pins and needles for word of "The Bachelorette's" birth, here it is. *sound of one gasp*

Celebrity Baby Blog has reported that Trista Sutter and husband Ryan welcomed their first child, a boy, last night via C-section, after a failed induction/stalled labor. Too much info?

The little bachelor, Maxwell Alston, weighed in at 5 lbs., 3oz., born four weeks early due to Trista's pregnancy complications of preeclampsia and gestational diabetes. Everybody's okay now! No word yet if Maxwell will be appearing on "A Baby Story."

83. Congratulations to Trista, Ryan and Maxwell. I founded the Preeclampsia Foundation in 2000 after my own scary experience with preeclampsia and HELLP Syndrome at 38 weeks. It's not something you really want to think about, let alone talk about in the press. I am glad everyone came through it and hope you're feeling back to your normal selves (+one) very soon.

85. Congratulations to Trista and Ryan!! I must say that that season of the Bachelorette was by far the best. I liked Trista from the beginning and Ryan was my favorite pick from day one. Watching them meet and fall in love on network tv was cool. My favorite thing was when they went to Seaworld and Ryan wrote that poem for her then Shamu jumped up to them was the best!! I also watched their wedding in which was absolutely glorious! She looked so beautiful and he just melted every time he looked at her. It was magical! And now they have this beautiful baby boy to share their love with! I hope they are as happy as they were back then, and treasure every moment together and have a wonderful life together!

88. RE: 20. Preeclampsia maybe Gestational Diabetes probably not with a baby weighing 5lbs. With Gestational Diabetes women give birth to huge babies...Huge like over 8lbs.. I know a woman that just gave birth 4 weeks early and she had gestational diabetes and her baby was 8lbs 4oz..

Wow you know *one* person who went through gestational diabetes, so therefore ALL GD pregnancies MUST be the same. Give me a break! You don't know $hit about this topic so shut your mouth. I had GD with my son, and like Trista had a failed induction/stalled labor and had to go through a c-section in order to save my son's life and mine. I was full-term and my son was 6 lbs 7 ounces. NOT ALL women with GD end up having huge babies. Yes, it's slightly more common but definitely not the norm for all GD moms. Get YOUR facts straight, moron.
